Description

School District No. 68 (Nanaimo-Ladysmith Public Schools) engaged STUDIO 531 to convert under-utilized spaces into instructional spaces at Dover Bay Secondary School into new adaptable learning environments that accommodate 21st century learning needs. Areas for project-based learning, active learning, and enlarged communal classrooms make up the project layout. The project also included the conversion of traditional male and female washrooms into an inclusive gender-neutral washroom.
