Description

This project consists of two apartment buildings with 65 purpose built rental units on the campus of the new Comox Valley Hospital and North Island College campus. The unit mix in the project consists of: 15 420 sq ft2 Studio units, 35-580/ 620 ft2 1 bedroom units and 15-800 ft 2 bedroom units. Construction is underway and utilizes an innovative hybrid framing system utilizing mass timber floors and off site manufactured stick built wall assemblies to shorten the construction schedule by 3 months. Construction was completed in December 2020.
