Description

Studio 531 Architects Inc. has been engaged by the City of Nanaimo to design a new public washroom and amenity facility at Westwood Lake Park. This initiative is part of a broader vision to improve the park’s First Beach area, enhancing the user experience for residents and visitors alike. The project involves the design of a new 100m² washroom building that will include gender-neutral and accessible washrooms, changing rooms, a rinsing area with open shower features, and a shaded gathering space.
